What Makes
Us Different

Your recordings, templates, and resource library remain accessible for 12 months after graduation — your personal accounting reference library.

Email AdmissionsNo prior accounting experience is required. We begin with the fundamentals — double-entry bookkeeping, chart of accounts, and basic financial statements — before moving into software tools. The programme is designed for complete beginners as well as those with some bookkeeping experience looking to formalise and upgrade their skills.
You will get hands-on training in QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Dext — the four most widely used accounting and bookkeeping tools across African businesses. Excel and Power BI are also covered for financial reporting and dashboards.
Free trial accounts are available for QuickBooks and Xero. Dext also offers a trial period. For Sage, we use the Sage Business Cloud product which has a free trial. You will not need to purchase any software to complete the programme.
Expect 8–10 hours per week — two live sessions plus independent project work and software practice. Most students complete the programme while working full-time. All live sessions are recorded for replay.
Bookkeeper, accounts officer, finance officer, tax officer, management accountant, and financial analyst roles. Graduates have gone into both employment and freelance bookkeeping — with clients across Africa and internationally.
